Swiss sports timing · Since 1860
Edouard Heuer established his watchmaking business in Saint-Imier, Switzerland, in 1860. Technical innovation and an interest in precise timing helped shape the company, including its work on the chronograph and the oscillating pinion.
The Carrera arrived in 1963, followed by the distinctive square Monaco in 1969. Those watches became closely associated with motor racing, forming an important part of a heritage that spans mechanical chronographs and newer electronic watch technology.

No. Solargraph watches use a rechargeable energy-storage cell, and Connected models use smartwatch technology. They require a separate assessment and may need TAG Heuer service. We do not fit an ordinary disposable watch battery in place of a specified rechargeable cell.
Standard battery replacement starts from £39.95 for suitable conventional quartz TAG Heuer watches, with resealing and appropriate testing. Solargraph and Connected models are assessed separately. We confirm the final quote, including VAT, after inspecting your watch and before starting. Premium and Mini Service packages are available for suitable quartz models.
Many straightforward battery replacements can be completed in around one hour at our London branches, with no appointment needed. Damaged seals, movement faults and additional work may take longer. We confirm the expected turnaround when we assess the watch.
The time depends on the fault, movement and parts needed. Servicing and work requiring ordered components take longer than a straightforward battery or strap replacement. We give an estimate after assessment; postal repairs also need time for delivery in both directions.
Parts depend on availability and the repair required. We explain whether genuine components or suitable alternatives can be supplied and agree the approach before work begins. We do not claim manufacturer authorisation or access to every brand-specific part.
Where appropriate, we test after resealing using a test suited to the model, its rating and its condition. Testing does not increase the manufacturer’s water-resistance rating. We explain the result and any additional crown or seal work required.
