Yes. Animal watches have been discontinued, but Animal used movements supplied by specialist manufacturers rather than making its own internal mechanisms. We can still service and repair suitable movements, subject to their condition and parts availability. We assess your watch and explain the options before starting.

Many straightforward battery replacements can be completed in around one hour at our London branches. We inspect the watch first and confirm the turnaround. Movement faults, damaged seals or parts orders can take longer.

No. Some Animal models, including RIP System watches, use a rechargeable system powered by movement. We identify the movement before recommending work. The standard battery price applies to suitable conventional quartz models; rechargeable systems need their own assessment.

Quartz servicing starts from £49.95. We investigate the fault and assess whether the movement needs repair or replacement. Your quote confirms the work and any parts before we proceed. Timekeeping and functions are checked afterwards, with appropriate resealing and pressure testing.

With Animal watches discontinued, we supply suitable generic replacement straps rather than new Animal-branded straps. Prices depend on the material, width, clasp and fitting required; shaped or integrated straps may have fewer options. Bracelet link adjustment starts from £9.95 where compatible fittings are available. Damaged pins, clasps and other bracelet repairs are quoted separately.

Glass replacement starts from £29.95. We check the crystal’s size, shape and specification, and confirm the suitable replacement and price. Shaped crystals or specialist materials may cost more. If the glass is broken or moisture is visible, stop wearing the watch and bring it in for assessment.

We inspect the case, crown and seals and carry out an appropriate pressure test for the model, its stated rating and its condition. Ageing seals or case damage can affect water resistance. Testing does not increase the original rating; we explain the result and any limitations before you use the watch in water.

Cleaning starts from £10 and polishing from £50 for suitable surfaces. We check the original finish and materials first. Coated, plated, resin and decorative areas may not be suitable for polishing. Suitable metal bracelets can be cleaned ultrasonically, while fabric, leather and rubber straps need a different approach.

Yes. Send your securely packed watch to Ross Watch Repairs, Unit 4B, Cabot Place Shopping Centre, Canary Wharf, London E14 4QT using Royal Mail Special Delivery, with cover appropriate to its value. Include your name, phone number, email, return address and the fault or work required. Repairs under £50, assessments and warranty returns carry a £15 postal charge.

Payment is on completion. Standard Battery & Reseal includes a 12-month guarantee, Premium Battery & Reseal includes 24 months, and Mini Service includes 36 months. Cover for servicing and other repairs is confirmed with your quote. Ross Watch Repairs is an independent repair service; suitable parts and availability are assessed for each watch.
