Many straightforward battery replacements can be completed in around one hour at our London branches. We inspect the watch first and confirm the turnaround. Damaged seals, movement faults or parts orders can take longer.

A fresh battery will not resolve every fault. We check the battery contacts and movement and look for issues such as moisture, wear or loose hands. Quartz servicing starts from £49.95. We explain whether repair or movement replacement is appropriate, and confirm any parts in your quote.

Yes. We can restore vintage manual-wind mechanical Accurist watches, including sentimental family pieces. Depending on condition, restoration may include dismantling the movement, cleaning, lubrication, repairing or replacing worn components where parts are available, reassembly, regulation and testing. We agree any cosmetic work with you and can retain age-related character where preferred. We also service automatic Accurist watches. A free assessment confirms the feasible work, price and turnaround before we begin.

No. Solar-powered Accurist watches use a light-powered charging system and need a separate assessment. The standard battery packages apply to suitable conventional quartz models. Send us the reference and symptoms so we can identify the movement and advise on the appropriate checks.

We check whether original parts are available for your reference before quoting. For older or discontinued models, suitable compatible components may be an option. We explain the proposed parts and any limitations before work begins; we do not assume every component is still obtainable.

Glass replacement starts from £29.95. We identify the required size, shape and material for your reference. Some newer Accurist models use sapphire, which is quoted separately and may cost more than standard mineral glass. If glass is broken or moisture is visible, stop wearing the watch and bring it in for assessment.

Bracelet adjustment starts from £9.95 where compatible links and fittings are available. Replacement links, damaged pins and clasp repairs are quoted separately. Strap prices depend on the material, width, fitting and clasp required; model-specific parts are checked for availability.

We inspect the finish first. Polishing starts from £50 for suitable surfaces, but plated, coated and decorative areas may be unsuitable for abrasive polishing. Cleaning starts from £10, using a method suited to the materials and condition. Suitable metal bracelets can be cleaned ultrasonically; leather straps need different care.

Resealing and an appropriate pressure test help us assess water resistance for the model, its stated rating and its condition. They do not make every watch suitable for swimming or increase its original rating. We explain the result and any further crown, case or seal work needed.

Yes. Send your securely packed watch to Ross Watch Repairs, Unit 4B, Cabot Place Shopping Centre, Canary Wharf, London E14 4QT using Royal Mail Special Delivery, with cover appropriate to its value. Include your name, phone number, email, return address and the fault or work required. Repairs under £50, assessments and warranty returns carry a £15 postal charge.

Payment is on completion. Standard Battery & Reseal includes a 12-month guarantee, Premium Battery & Reseal includes 24 months, and Mini Service includes 36 months. Cover for servicing and other repairs is confirmed with your quote. Ross Watch Repairs provides an independent repair service.
