British retail heritage · Since 1982
The first Next womenswear store opened on 12 February 1982. The business grew from the earlier clothing company J Hepworth & Son, which had been established in Leeds in 1864, and later expanded into menswear, childrenswear and home products.
Next watches belong to that wider fashion and accessories story. For repair purposes, identifying the watch itself is important: case designs, movements and strap fittings can vary between ranges and production years.

We assess your watch, explain the options and confirm the price before work begins. Your repair is checked before collection or return, and payment is on completion.
Visit The Shard (London Bridge) or Canary Wharf, or use our UK-wide postal repair service. We provide an independent repair service; parts availability and guarantee cover are confirmed with your quote.
We start with a free assessment and explain the cost before you commit. A battery or strap may be all that is needed. For movement or case damage, we discuss parts availability and the repair cost so you can weigh it against the watch's practical or sentimental value.
We provide a free assessment and quote for your exact model. The final price, including VAT, is confirmed before any work begins. Standard, Premium and Mini Service packages are available for suitable quartz watches.
Many straightforward battery replacements can be completed in around one hour at our London branches, with no appointment needed. Damaged seals, movement faults and additional work may take longer. We confirm the expected turnaround when we assess the watch.
The time depends on the fault, movement and parts needed. Servicing and work requiring ordered components take longer than a straightforward battery or strap replacement. We give an estimate after assessment; postal repairs also need time for delivery in both directions.
Parts depend on availability and the repair required. We explain whether genuine components or suitable alternatives can be supplied and agree the approach before work begins. We do not claim manufacturer authorisation or access to every brand-specific part.
Where appropriate, we test after resealing using a test suited to the model, its rating and its condition. Testing does not increase the manufacturer’s water-resistance rating. We explain the result and any additional crown or seal work required.
